Governance & Accountability: We’re in this together!

Total five-year support requirement:

$2,800,000 over five years...$560,000 each year. Local businesses and municipalities are asked to invest in Progress & Prosperity II. Each investment request is based on the individual prospect’s stake in the area, the projected return on investment, and the perceived “quality-of-life” benefits that accrue to our area. We can assist you in structuring your investment however you would like; setting up whatever payment schedule is convenient to you. In short, we want to make it easy for you to become a partner in this critical undertaking and begin receiving benefits as well as enhancing the area, in which we live and work.

Management of Funds & Program

Governance and Accountability Committee

Committee Composition:

  •  Representatives from the largest three investors
  •  Progress & Prosperity II, General Campaign Co-Chairs
  •  Board Chairman, Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce
  •  Board Chairman, Cheyenne LEADS

Responsibilities over the life of the program:

  •  Ensure appropriate accounting is in place and the investors are informed of the results and status of each of the three initiatives.
  •  Evaluate proposals for land and improvement projects to ensure we are getting the maximum returns on our funds.
  •  Evaluate and approve Quality-of-Life initiatives that will enhance how we are perceived by new prospects and their families.
  •  Ensure funds are being used in the spirit they were intended.
  •  Ensure an investor relations communication program is in place.
